Bibidi to Host "Bibidi Bop": A Free Family Festival Celebrating Community and Connection

Local Tech Startup Partners with Mamas for Mamas and Paws It Forward for a Day of Giving Back

The local community is invited to experience the magic of connection at the inaugural Bibidi Bop, a free family community event taking place on June 14, 2026, from 11am-5pm at Kelowna Event Centre - 2041 Harvey Ave, Kelowna.

The event serves to celebrate the official Kelowna launch of Bibidi held on May 15, 2026 a new app designed to bring neighborhoods together by making it easy to find help for everyday needs; from dog walking, cleaning, and yard work to tutoring, trades, and skilled services.

Bibidi is the first platform of its kind focused specifically on connecting Okanagan residents with local service providers through a single booking platform built for the community. To celebrate the spirit of community, bibidi has partnered with two beloved local non-profits: Mamas for Mamas and Paws It Forward.

A Day of Family Fun

The Bibidi Bop is designed to be the ultimate Sunday outing for residents of all ages. Attendees can look forward to:

• The Bibidi Experience: Live app demonstrations, opportunities to meet local businesses already using the platform, and exclusive early-adopter perks for attendees who download the app during the event.

• Live Entertainment: Local music and performances throughout the day

• Interactive Play Zones: Activities for children, including face painting and games

• Pet-Friendly Perks: A dedicated area hosted by Paws It Forward for our four-legged neighbors.

Partnerships with Purpose

While the event is free to attend, the Bibidi Bop is dedicated to supporting the vital work of its charitable partners.

"Community is at the very heart of why we built bibidi," says Tiffani Hardie, CEO and Founder of bibidi. "Partnering with Mamas for Mamas and Paws It Forward was a natural choice. We want to celebrate our launch not just by introducing a product, but by uplifting the organizations that make Kelowna a better place for families and their pets."

Mamas for Mamas will be on-site selling hotdogs by donation and to share information about their maternal mental health and support programs, while Paws It Forward will be running a beverage station by donation and showcase their adoptable dogs and discuss their mission to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need.

Attendees are encouraged support these charities and Bibidi has made this event accessible by allowing families to enjoy the fun for free and purchase refreshments at a price that they can afford.
