Kelowna Women in Business (KWIB) Celebrates With a Vibrant Members Appreciation Night in Downtown Kelowna

Kelowna Women in Business (KWIB) brought the community together on November 27 for a lively and heartwarming Members Appreciation Night, celebrating the entrepreneurs, leaders, and creatives who make up one of the region’s most active business communities. Hosted at Lakehouse Kitchens in downtown Kelowna, the evening blended connection, celebration, and local business support in true KWIB fashion.

The event welcomed over 100 members into a warm, lively space filled with great bites, conversation, music, laughter, and the unmistakable energy of women uplifting women. As the final KWIB event of the year, it served both as a thank-you and a celebration of how far the community has grown.

This year’s appreciation night introduced a festive mini-marketplace featuring 16 local vendors, each offering products and services perfect for gifting, discovering, and supporting during the holiday season.

From handcrafted goods to wellness offerings, artisan treats, custom décor, beauty products, jewelry, and unique experiences, the market showcased the remarkable breadth of women-led and local businesses in the Okanagan.

Guests enjoyed the opportunity to browse, shop, and connect directly with business owners — many of whom are fellow KWIB members growing their presence in the region.

At its core, the Members Appreciation Night was about gratitude — recognizing the support, participation, and dedication of KWIB’s community throughout the year.

The event fostered meaningful conversations, strengthened existing relationships, and created new ones as members mingled with board directors, vendors, and fellow entrepreneurs.
