Paws, Play, and Purpose: 2025 Okanagan Pet Expo Returns Bigger and Better Than Ever!

Get ready for a tail-wagging good time!

The 2025 Okanagan Pet Expo is set to return to the Laurel Packinghouse and Square in Kelowna on Sunday, June 1st 10am-4pm, promising a full day of fun, education, and heartwarming community spirit for pet lovers of all kinds.

Now in its 3rd year, the Okanagan Pet Expo is the region’s largest pet-focused event, drawing local attendees and their pets, over 50 vendors, and a menagerie of furry friends. The event celebrates the special bond between humans and animals while raising awareness and funds for local animal welfare organizations.

This Year’s Highlights Include:

11am - WOW the Yard Weenie Waggle

11:30am - Mini Mutt Mayhem (under 25lbs)

12pm - Paws & Paint (cats and dogs)

1pm - Meet & Greet with Canadian Canine Search Corps and their search dogs

1:30pm - Meet & Greet with Happy Hooves Sanctuary and their goats

2pm - Fairfield Emergency Animal Hospital Pug Dash

Professional photo shoots by donation by Dogs in Colour throughout the day!

 Paws it Forward will be available with dog rescues available for adoption.

 Exclusive prizes for those that dress up their pet!

Supporting Local Animal Charities

The 2025 Expo proudly supports several local charities including:

• Fletcher’s Keep – Preserving the Human-K9 Bond And creating a world where Senior Dogs will never be left to suffer or die alone.

• Paws It Forward Dog Rescue – a volunteer-run organization saving dogs from neglect and high-kill shelters

• Lend a Paw Foundation-To help support companion animals in the Okanagan whose owners are experiencing pet food insecurity.

Proceeds from race tickets, raffles, and photo donations will go directly toward supporting these critical organizations in their mission to protect and care for animals across the Okanagan.
