Dress for Success Kelowna is opening its doors and inviting the community to come see what’s next

On Wednesday, September 16, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., the organization will welcome community members, partners, supporters and media to an Open House at its new home at 1929 Kent Road in Kelowna.

The event marks an important milestone following several years of significant growth. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the new space, meet the team and learn more about how the organization’s work continues to evolve to meet the needs of women in the Okanagan.

They’ll also be among the first to hear some significant news about what comes next.

“We’ve been building toward this moment for some time,” says Lori Stevenson, Executive Director. “Our new home gives us the opportunity to expand what we do and deepen our impact. We have a lot to share on September 16, and we want the people who have supported us, and those curious about where we’re headed, to be there with us.”

The new Kent Road location provides expanded space for professional styling, career and personal development, mentorship, workshops, learning and community collaboration, creating capacity for the organization to grow well beyond its traditional roots.

“We’re incredibly proud of what this community has helped us build,” says Stevenson. “But the new space is only part of the story. We have some exciting announcements to make about the future of our organization, and September 16 is the perfect time to share them.”
