Pet lovers, get your leashes ready!
The Okanagan Pet Expo is officially returning to the historic Laurel Packinghouse and Square on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Celebrating another year of community and companionship, the expo promises a high-energy day filled with over 50 local vendors, interactive competitions, and a heartfelt mission to support local animal rescues.
From 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the Laurel Packinghouse will transform into a pet paradise. Whether you’re a dog devotee, a cat connoisseur, or a fan of the more exotic, this event offers something for every member of the family—two-legged and four-legged alike.
Exciting Activities & Highlights
This year’s schedule is packed with fan-favorite events that showcase the spirit and speed of our local pets:
11am The Pug Dash: Watch the squishy-faced speedsters sprint for glory in this high-stakes (and high-cuteness) race.
12pm Raise the Woof: The Daytime Rave for Dogs and their owners
2pm Project Runway Puppy Fashion Show: A chance to showcase your Puppy Fashionista!
Colouring Contest: Enter our colouring contest to be entered for exclusive prizes and have your parents get a discount to attend! Entry is on our website!
Supporting Paws It Forward Dog Rescue
The Okanagan Pet Expo is more than just a party—it’s a fundraiser with a "Paws and Purpose" mission. Proceeds from The Pug Dash, Raise the Woof, and Project Runway Puppy Fashion Show will go directly to support Paws It Forward Dog Rescue and other animal rescues.

"Whether you're looking to adopt a new furry friend, learn more about animal wellness, or just spend a fun day with your family, the expo supports incredible causes that make a real difference in the Okanagan. The scheduled activities have limited spots so are ticketed separately to support Paws it Forward.
Important Note for Pet Owners: All pets are welcome but must be well-behaved and kept on a leash at all times. Owners must fill out a pet waiver in advance, available on our website.
