As the seasons shift and the urge to declutter takes hold, the city’s premier sustainable fashion event, the Great Closet Cleanout, is back for its annual Spring edition on April 19th, 2026. This year, organizers are expanding the experience beyond the racks by introducing the inaugural Men’s Pop-Up Patio—a dedicated space (running in conjunction with the ladies' event) designed to include the men fashionista's we all know!

Sustainable Style for a New Season

The Great Closet Cleanout has become a local staple for eco-conscious shoppers and fashionistas alike. By providing a platform for community members to sell gently used high-quality clothing, the event diverts thousands of textiles from landfills while offering attendees the chance to refresh their wardrobes at a fraction of retail prices.

"Spring cleaning shouldn't just be about clearing space; it's about giving items a second life," says Rosanne Ting-Mak Brown, Founder of the Great Closet Cleanout. "This season, we wanted to include the men in our lives who also enjoy shopping responsibly!"

Introducing: The Men’s Pop-Up Patio

Recognizing that fashion events are often geared toward women, this year’s event features the Men’s Pop-Up Patio. Located on the covered patio of the Laurel Packinghouse, this will start to give men the opportunity to sell their clothing in our long standing event.
