On March 19, 2026, women across the Okanagan are invited to gather for an evening that goes beyond budgeting and balances — one that centers confidence, clarity, and intention around money. Hosted at the Innovation Centre in downtown Kelowna, the Women’s Wealth Mindset event is designed for women who work hard, earn well, and want their money to feel aligned with their goals rather than overwhelming.

This two-hour experience (6:00–8:00 PM) creates space for honest conversation about how women relate to money, the mindset shifts most people are never taught, and how financial decisions can either limit or expand personal freedom across different stages of life.

Why this conversation matters

Money impacts women differently — from career pauses and caregiving responsibilities to longevity and wealth-building opportunities. This event explores those realities while emphasizing the importance of having trusted financial guidance and support systems in place.

Rather than focusing solely on technical advice, the evening blends financial insight with mindset work, helping attendees reflect on how beliefs, habits, and confidence shape financial outcomes.

The event is hosted by Marie Wood, Associate Wealth Advisor at Raymond James Ltd., who brings a grounded and approachable perspective to wealth planning.

She is joined by two accomplished speakers:

  • Jennifer Louth, CIMA®, representing Franklin Templeton, offering insights from a global investment and portfolio strategy lens.

  • Melanie Robinson, Certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Life Coach, and Inspirational Speaker, who will explore the mindset patterns that influence financial decisions and self-worth.

Together, they create a balanced conversation that connects numbers with narrative — and strategy with self-belief.

Tickets are priced at $15, with 50% of proceeds donated to the Kelowna Women’s Shelter, reinforcing the event’s commitment to supporting women not only in wealth-building, but in community care and safety.

Guests will also enjoy complimentary appetizers and drinks, making the evening both informative and social — a chance to connect with like-minded women in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
