The Rotary Club of Kelowna Sunrise is thrilled to launch its 5th Annual Season of Giving – 12 Days of Prizes Calendar Raffle, a holiday tradition that is as much about giving as it is receiving.

With 81 prizes valued at over $37,000 and odds of just 1 in 58 to win, each calendar offers the chance to win dining, theatre, and golf experiences; spa visits; hotel stays; grocery gift cards; cash prizes up to $3,000; and more. The raffle sold out last year and has raised an incredible $548,000 in just four years.

“Thanks to the incredible generosity of our presenting sponsor, Business Finders Canada, all proceeds go directly to supporting the Child & Youth Advocacy Centre of Kelowna (CYAC) and Rotary initiatives, making a meaningful impact for our community’s most vulnerable,” said Randall Bamford, Project Lead and Past President of the Sunrise Rotary Club.

The CYAC is a place of hope and help for children and youth who have experienced abuse and neglect, where young survivors and their families have access to timely wrap-around services on their journey to healing.

“We have three to four new children walk through our doors each week,” said CYAC Executive Director, Ginny Becker. “Every calendar sold helps ensure that we can meet them with the care they need and deserve.”

Season of Giving Calendars are available for purchase at Save-On-Foods locations from Lake Country to West Kelowna. Simply ask your cashier or visit the Service Desk. Rotarians will also be at holiday markets and craft fairs throughout the season. Calendars are on sale now through December 21 or until sold out.

In addition to Business Finders Canada, media sponsors Castanet, 101.5 GO! FM, and 99.9 SUN FM play a vital role in bringing this initiative to life.
